I knew that I wanted to find a replacement for the gallons of fabric softener we were going through. Not only for the expense, but the empty jugs seem absolutely ridiculous from an environmental standpoint. I ran across these ‘balls’…and thought, “Yeah…right!” BUT, I though it was worth a try given the price. Wow! Was I surprised. They actually work. The only down side is that they do nothing to eliminate static. However, there’s a simple fix for that little problem. Take enough aluminum foil to make a ball (about the size of a tennis ball), and throw that in the dryer along with this product. Works like a charm. So glad I had an open mind on this one.
