It contains mint Modern Official stamps from ALL series 1983 to 2009. The Scott numbers run from O127 to O163. Several of these issues are becoming difficult to stock and are increasing in catalogue value. This set ensures that you have every denomination issued over the 25+ years that modern Officials were used. This is special promotional price and huge savings over purchasing items separately. Many of the stamps are very fine condition. There is a usually a 25% premium for VF but we offer this upgrade at our regular low price! The Nondenominated “D” stamp is 22c, “E” is 25c, “F” is 29c and “G” rate change stamp is 32c. The set includes all 3 of the $1 values. Some older catalogues list O163 as a 42c stamp. Instead it was printed as 1c self-adhesive and added to the previous 41c servicing the 42c rate. Officials were originally Engraved and later printed using Lithography. This was a less expensive printing process than engraving and the result is a smoother duller appearance. Also later Officials after 1995 have low gloss gum. They can only be used by certain government agencies. The reprint O156 (1995) was bullseye perforated 11.2 and contains a date at the bottom and micro text above the denomination. This is the adopted format for all new officials.
